Session 1: New Information on Aerial Lift Training – “I Didn’t Know That” is Not an Excuse!
Date & Time
Wednesday, September 21, 2022, 8:40 AM - 9:40 AM
Description
Aerial lifts are used every day in and around your facilities for maintenance.  The speaker will discuss the new ANSI regulations adopted by OSHA, including the Chain of Responsibilities when it comes to training. If there is an accident or an injury with a lift or lifts you have rented or own, the first question OSHA will ask and will want to see, is your documentation for training – and if the injured person received the training. This presentation will also touch on the five key concepts of safety: 1. avoid hazards, 2. pre-operation inspection, 3.  pre-operation function tests, 4. inspection of work area, and 5. proper use of lift.  Could you pass a test with a 100% correct score right now on lifts and responsibilities ?  If not, learn what you need to know in this session.
