Name
Session 11: Cost-Effective Energy Efficiency: Optimizing Facility Operations with Retro-Commissioning (RCx)
Date & Time
Thursday, October 10, 2024, 9:50 AM - 10:50 AM
Description

Retrocommissioning, or RCx, is a process that helps address inefficiencies by inspecting, testing, analyzing, calibrating, repairing, adjusting and optimizing building systems. This process has been an attractive part of the energy efficiency world for years because it generates big savings for building owners without the burden of big capital investments. These projects often have paybacks of 1-2 years or less from the energy savings alone, and bring a host of other benefits including improved occupant comfort and equipment reliability as well. In this session, the speaker will educate attendees on the keys to starting, managing, and completing a successful RCx project to achieve the maximum energy saving potential in their facilities.
