This presentation will examine the topic of energy resilience for non-residential facilities – that is, ensuring that energy is provided to your facility with minimal interruption in the case of a power outage or other emergency. The session will provide an overview of the technologies that can be used to self-generate electricity, and then focus on two case studies – of a commercial office building and a college campus. The speaker will conclude the presentation with information on CPUC rulings and proceedings promoting resiliency and Self-Generation Incentive Program resiliency incentives.
